ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. -
Residents are encouraged to come to a meeting tonight to hear about the financial impact of UNC's Carolina North.
It will be a joing meeting of the Orange County Commissioners, the Chapel Hill Town Council, the Carrboro Aldermen. The consulting team doing the financial anaylsis work, TischlerBise and The Chesapeake Group, will present their analysis and findings.
The meeting will be at the Orange County Southern Human Services Building on Homestead Road at 7 p.m.
Carolina North is a mixed use academic and research campus that will take up about 250 acres just north of UNC's main campus.
